My show at the Library

Image.jpg

Last week I hung my artwork at the Wellesley Free Librarby. It's always a much bigger production than I think it is…. Luckily, my good friends lent their helping hands & eyes and by the end of the day it all worked out. For the very first time I am showing a few of my abstract works. I was nervous about how they'd fit with the illustrative paintings but in the end I am so glad I did. It all somehow magically flowed together.

Of course, it all took longer than I thought, so in-between hanging I had to get my boys from school, to band practice and back to the library. So much for combining being a mom and an artist….Yet again- it all worked out great. My little agents got a kick out of helping me and now ask everyday if I have sold a piece already.

There will be an artist reception on Saturday March 22nd from 9-12 at the Wakelin Room. I hope you can join us. There will be music and food. And kids are of course welcome!
